William Aaron Parker, 75, of Concord, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury.
Aaron was born February 8, 1944 in Concord to the late Erskine Parker and the late Evelyn Hamilton Parker. He was also preceded in death by brother, Joe Parker.
Aaron was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was active and devoted member of Parkwood Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon. He was an Atlanta Braves fan, loved going to the beach with his wife, and enjoyed being outside and doing yard work. Most of all, Aaron was a very loving husband and was a wonderful father to his children.
Survivors include beloved wife of 52 years, Pattie Eudy Parker; sons, Anthony (Beth) Parker and Chad Parker; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Madison, Emma, Ben, and Eli; brothers, Arthur (Nancy) Parker and David Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Parkwood Baptist Church in Concord, officiated by Rev. Michael Waters and Rev. William Nix. Burial with military honors will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
