Brenda Munson

Brenda Elizabeth Munson, 80, of Concord, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mrs. Munson was born December 13, 1941 to the late Pearl Lee and Eula Riley Carroll. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Munson, Sr., sons, Billy Eugene Munson, Jr., Roger Wayne Munson, Johnny Ray Munson; daughter-in-law, Lori Myers; brothers, Kenneth Carroll, Marvin Carroll, Charles Carroll, Franklin Carroll, Robert Lee Carroll, Olan Ray Carroll; sisters, Virginia Riffle and Rita Honeycutt.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and most of all friend. She was a true angel on earth and now a true angel in heaven and will be deeply missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A private graveside service will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.

Brenda is survived by her son, William Munson; daughters, Elizabeth (Allen) Hedrick, Shirley Munson, Amy Munson; brothers, Ronnie Carroll, Larry Carroll; sisters, Betty Ward, Shirley Storey; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
