Deborah Norton

Debbie was born September 27, 1959, in Santa Monica, CA, to the late Henry Theodore Norton and Patricia Ann Oneal Norton.

Debbie was an active member of Pitts Baptist Church.  She worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist and enjoyed cross stitching in her free time. Most of all, Debbie loved her Savior and sought to be a blessing to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Debbie will lie-in-state at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.  A graveside service in celebration of Debbie's life will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg, 12015 University City Blvd., Charlotte, officiated by Rev. Kevin Seger.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia Norton of Concord, NC; sister, Janet Abbott of Port Angeles, WA; sister, Christie Norton of Concord, NC; aunt, Karen Waters of Clovis, CA; and five nieces and nephews and their families. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Henry Theodore Norton, and her sister, Marjorie Miller.
