Denise Hendrix

Denise Chantel Hendrix, 50, of Albemarle, NC passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

Denise was born August 26, 1971 in Peru, IN to Carl Edward Peek and the late Mary Jean Michaud.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Carter Hendrix; daughter, Carter "Dayne" Hendrix; daughter, Tehya Beth-Ellen Hendrix; son, Chance Edward Hendrix; sister, Kathy Watkins; brother, Eric Games; sister, Michelle Jarrell; and step-father, Henry "Mitch" Michaud.

Denise Hendrix was the most amazing and hardworking wife, mother, and friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was kind and loving and never hesitated to help someone in need. She was amazingly funny with a laugh and smile that was contagious. She loved the outdoors and to have a good adventure. No matter where she was she always had her nose in a good book. This world is a better place for having her in it and we will forever be affected by her loss.

The family will receive friends to celebrate Denise's life from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle, 522 N. Second St., Albemarle, NC 28001.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stanly County Humane Society, 2049 Badin Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001.
