Georgie Lula Page Tarlton passed peacefully early September 19, 2022 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.
Services will be graveside only at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Road, Monroe, NC on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
"Lula" was retired from Cannon Mills, a talented beautician, gardener, fisher, quilter, afghan and craft enthusiast, bowler, loving mother and avid believer in her heavenly place.
Lula was born April 25, 1927 in Union County, North Carolina to the late George Lee Page and the late Hester Lula Page.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Fred Harold Tarlton, son, Jeffery Lee Tarlton, brother, Benjamin Lee Page, brother, Jimmy David Page, brother, Soloman Page, brother, Bill Page, sister, Polly Anderson, sister, Della Mae Page, brother, Eugene Page, brother, Jack Page, and brother, Sandy Curtis Page.
Survivors include children, Johnny Tarlton, Jimmy Tarlton, Terry Tarlton, Debra Tarlton Wagner; sister, Ida Ezell; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the McWhorter Hospice House and Hospice of Union County for all the care of Mrs. Tarlton and help to her family.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Tarlton family.
