Jean Stevens

Jean Stevens, 72, of Concord, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Jean was born February 27, 1949 in North Carolina to the late Raymond Edward Drye and the late Ruby Geraldine Cox.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Paul Stevens; sister, Ruby Moose; and brother Larry Drye.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 on Sunday the 14th, at Hartsell Funeral Home located in Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel, officiated by Reverend Don Burleyson.

Survivors include sons, Donald (Fantasia) White of Harrisburg, NC and Pete Hall of Concord, NC; daughters, Jackie (Timothy) Aldridge of Concord, NC, Carolyn Ledbetter of Concord, NC, Donna Hall of Enochville, NC and Jessica Hall of Raleigh, NC; Sister, Shirley Starnes of Concord, NC; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a very generous woman who considered the needs of others above her own.  Jean loved collecting post cards from the many states that she visited, in fact she has been to every state except Hawaii.  Spending time with friends and family were times that she cherished the most.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local homeless shelter.
