Jennifer Runion

Jennifer King Runion, 48, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

She was born December 25, 1972 in North Carolina to the late Danny Clark King and the late Mary Elizabeth King.

Survivors include husband, Stephen Runion of Albemarle, NC; daughters, Jessica "Jessie" Runion and Nikki Runion; grandson, Stephen "Pookie" Runion; and brother, Danny Clark King, Jr.

Jennifer was a caring and passionate person who was always doing for others. Her love for her family and friends overflowed into her compassion for others. Jennifer devoted many years as a volunteer and employee of the Girl Scouts, and after leaving them, she went on to help others in her career at DSS. She had a love for owls, lighthouses and crafts.

The memorial service will be at 11:00am, Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Lefler Memorial Chapel of Albemarle, officiated by Pastor Phillip Martin.
