Jesse Lowder

Jesse Lee Lowder, 82, of Fairview, NC passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Jesse was born July 29, 1936 in Concord, NC to the late John Haywood Lowder and the late Vassie Lee Lowder.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mickey Lowder and brother, Johnny Lowder.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Janice Lee Lowder; daughter, Karen Pearson and husband Ray; daughter, Tonia Helms and husband Chuck; son, Jerry Lowder and wife Vicky; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Eugene Lowder; sister, Louise King and sister, Margie Long.

Jesse enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and serving God.  He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Brian Austin.  Burial will take place at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Cemetery in Monroe with military honors.
