John Cash

John Calhoun Cash, 85, of Concord, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

John was born February 27, 1936, in Cowpens, SC, to the late William Gooden Cash and the late Mary Smith Cash.

John retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad as a clerk after 37 years, where he was also a Union Representative.  He loved all animals, especially his cattle.  John never met a stranger and he'd always go out of his way to do anything for anyone.  John was a loving Pop, Grandpaw, and Greatpaw.

Survivors include son, Brian Keith (Annette) Cash of Concord, NC, and their sons,  Joshua (Audrie) Cash, Matthew (Shannon) Cash, Daniel Keith Cash; Lisa (Jim) Cook of Myrtle Beach, SC, and her daughter, Brianna Cook; Johnny Cash of Bisbee, AZ and his daughter, Pila Cash; David (Lynn) Cash of Ravenel, SC and their daughters, Savannah and Taylor Cash; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services are private.
