Johnny Thompson

Johnny Malcolm Thompson, 81, of Concord, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Accordius Health of Salisbury, NC.

Mr. Thompson was born July 25, 1940 in North Carolina to the late Hugh Martin Thompson and the late Mary Magdalene Honeycutt Thompson.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Fred Thompson and Hugh Martin (Junior) Thompson; sister, Shirley Dorton.

There was a private graveside service held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery  Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis, NC. The  Rev. Michael Frye officiated the service.

Survivors include wife, Brenda Thompson of Concord, NC, son, John Ashley Thompson (Micki) of Albemarle, Daughter, Lisa T. Hash (Richard) of Albemarle; step-daughters, Angie W. Jordan (Mike), Ellen Greer (Jeff), Carol Vannoy (Bobby) all of Kannapolis; Also surviving are sisters, Bernice Lylery and Nancy Woods both of Albemarle, NC and eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
