June Morgan

June Rose "Nana" Morgan, 88, of Stanfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center in Matthews.

Mrs. Morgan was born June 9, 1933 to the late Theodore Franklin and Minnie Huneycutt. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Ross Huneycutt; sisters, Rachael Cannon, Sue Butler, Noel Lambert, Sybil Love, infant daughter, Jincy Morgan.

June was a member of Indian Hill Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Good News Quartet and an amazing cook. She will be remembered as a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Indian Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 8349 NC Hwy 200, Stanfield, officiated by Rev. Richard Brudin. The family will receive friends at June's home after the service.

Survivors include: brother, Theodore Franklin (Kaye) Huneycutt; daughter, Brinda (Nicky) Teeter; son, Mike (Londa) Morgan; son, Jeff (Debbie Love) Morgan; daughter, Mindy (Trent) Turner; grandchildren, Scott Teeter, Tisha Teeter, Melisa Smith, Brandon Morgan, Dustin Morgan, Graham Turner, Greyson Turner; great-grandchildren,  Cassady Teeter, Morgan Williams, Maycee Williams, Newt Teeter, Wyatt Morgan, Serafina Teeter, Judson Morgan, Jayce Corl, Grant Morgan, Kolton Morgan, Madison Paugh, Kimber Sigmon and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC. 28607.
