Mildred Miller

Mildred Lucille Sheppard Miller, 67, of Midlothian, TX,  passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at her home.

Mildred was born March 5, 1954 in Anson County to the late Jerry Sheppard Jr. and the late Frances Sheppard. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry W. Sheppard, John Sheppard, Thomas Sheppard, Allen Sheppard; sisters, Louise Cotton and Sarah Caven.

Mildred loved the Lord and serving her church, she was a loving wife, parent, and grandparent. She would help others before she would help herself, was a wonderful cook, and will be missed by all that knew her. Mildred leaves many cherished memories as well as her legacy of faith that she carried with her until the end.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Wayne Richardson and Reese English. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include loving husband of 30 years, Jerry Miller of Midlothian, TX, children, Michael (Rhonda) Miller, Marie Starnes, Chyrstal (Robert) Causby, Phillip Crisco Jr., Jordan (Rosie) Miller, and Andrea Crisco Miller, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Sheppard; sisters, Nancy Medlin, Linda Grey, Debbie Goodwin and Sue Bowers; and Kelly Tucker (friend of many years); with many nieces and nephews.
