Pauline (Polly) was born in Arapahoe, Nebraska on October 17, 1928. That same year she was baptized into Christ at Trinity Lutheran Church. In 1950 she married Walter Warrington of Cecil County Maryland who preceded her in death in 2008. Polly lived for many years on a horse farm in Galena, MD while working as the bookkeeper for her son’s businesses. When she wasn’t in the office she was busy cooking delicious meals in order to keep everyone, whether family or visitors, well fed.
As a life long Lutheran Christian she was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Smyrna, Delaware. For the last six years while living with her daughter, she worshipped with the saints at Calvary Lutheran Church in Kannapolis, NC. Pastor Christopher Stout faithfully and lovingly ministered to her when she was finally confined to home.
A Service of Christian burial will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Kannapolis, NC on October 6 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to the church at 204 N Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC, 28083 or Peace Lutheran Church, 5048 Wheatleys Pond Road, Smyrna, DE 19977.
