Terry Batten

Terry Lee Batten, 63, of Concord, NC passed away at home on Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Terry was born July 6, 1957 in Raleigh, NC to the late Joseph Elwood Batten and the late Mary Etta Grice Batten.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Joseph Jr.; sister, Virginia; sister, Bonnie; brother, George; sister, Rose and sister, Vicky.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Cherry Smith-Batten; daughter, Leigh-Anne Sessoms; four grandchildren, Jalen, Kyla, Tristan and Josiah; brother, Donnie Batten; his dog Luke, and cat Homer.

Terry was an avid Panthers fan, enjoyed being outside working in his yard and going fishing.  He never met a stranger and always had a story to share.  Terry loved to play the lottery nearly every day.  He will be truly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

Memorials may be made in Terry's memory to the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter.
