Aaron Fowler, Jr

Aaron Kenneth “Kenny” Fowler, Jr., 51, of Lancaster, S. C., formerly of Midland, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Lancaster, SC. Mr. Fowler was born May 19, 1961 in Mecklenburg County to Aaron Kenneth Fowler, Sr. and Flora Marie Allen Fowler of Midland. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Neal and Emma Fowler and Brice and Lucille Allen. He was a supervisor and welding inspector for Teledyne Allvac in Monroe. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Wilson Grove Baptist Church, 6624 Wilgrove Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, officiated by Pastor Grant Hoffman. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road in Charlotte. At other times, the family will meet at the home of his sister, Machelle, at 10375 Jim Sossoman Road, Midland. Survivors include his parents, Aaron and Flora of Midland; his son, Aaron Kenneth Meyers of Apex; his loving girlfriend, Teresa Meadows of Monroe; his sister, Machelle Smith and her husband, Steve, of Midland; his brother, Charles Wayne Fowler and his wife, Kathy, of Stanfield; four nieces, one nephew, and one great-nephew; and many friends.
