Ada King

Ada Mildred King, 70, of Concord, passed away on October 20, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center, Northeast, in Concord. She was born in Grand Ridge, Florida, December 15, 1938. Ms. King was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys King and her father, Marvin King. Ms. King was a Social Worker for the state of Florida for 35 years. She worked at the Pensacola Boys' Base for over 15 years. She loved her time there and held it very close to her heart. It was always a fond memory for her. She enjoyed cooking and making jewelry. A kind, generous, loving, but fiesty person, Ada loved life, particularly her family. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Carroll of Charlotte, NC, and her grandchildren, Christina Carroll, Jennifer Daniels, Melissa King, Michael King, Patrick King, and Cody King.
