Ada Love

Ada Lee Baucom Love, 85, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at Morningside Assisted Living in Concord. Mrs. Love was born August 5, 1927 in Union County to the late Oscar Lee Baucom, Sr. and Verla Mae Helms Baucom. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Judy Love. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, April 15 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance. Burial will follow in Kinza Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery at 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Lee Roy Love of the home; her son, Ronnie Love and his wife, Lucy, of Stanfield; her daughters, Carolyn Crayton and her husband, Doug, of Stanfield, and Brenda Armstrong and her husband, David, of Concord; her brothers, Oscar Lee Baucom, Jr. of Newton and Foster Baucom of Concord; her sisters, Bennie Hunsucker of Concord, Rosie Robinson of Concord, and Doris Harris of Monroe; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, NC 28163. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Love family.
