Addie Honeycutt

Addie Lee Morgan Honeycutt, 96 years of age, of Locust, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Addie Lee was born October 1, 1918 in Stanly County to the late Cranford Monroe Morgan and the late Nancy Jane Parker Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Loys Chrosen Honeycutt; son, Billie Wayne Honeycutt; brothers, Robert Graham Morgan and Kenneth Morgan; and sister, Magdalene Efird.
The graveside service, officiated by Dr. Kinney Wallace, will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 27, 2015 at Locust Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the burial. At other times the family will be meeting at the home of Barbara Honeycutt.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Honeycutt; granddaughters, Erika Honeycutt, and Felicia Medlin, all of Locust; sister-in-law, June Morgan of Red Cross; and six nieces and nephews.
Addie loved tending her garden and mowing her yard. She was a faithful member of Locust Baptist Church.
