Aimee Whitley Bayne, 44, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Aimee was born February 18, 1977. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Aimee was a beautiful Believer and loved God and her grandbabies more than anything in the world. She enjoyed reading her bible, scrapbooking, and loved the ocean. Despite living there for several years, she still collected seashells every time she walked on the beach.
Aimee had the biggest heart and was the sweetest soul you'd ever meet. She loved with everything she had. She was such a hard worker and she woke up thanking God for another day every single day. She would work hard 7 days a week just to spend her very last dime on gifts and surprises to her kids and grandkids, who she loved FaceTiming every chance she got. Her family was everything to her and she made sure they all knew it. She was so caring, loving and kind and she will be dearly missed and forever loved.
"She was beautiful for the way she thought. For the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make others smile even when she was sad. She wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as looks... She was beautiful deep down to her soul."
Services are private. Aimee will be laid to rest at Oakboro Cemetery.
