Alan Gregor, Sr

Alan Scott Gregor, Sr., 51 years of age, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at his home in Locust. He was born April 25, 1963 in Maryland to Gordon Michael Gregor and Rebecca Louise Gregor. He was also preceded in death by son, Joshua Matthew Gregor. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 3:00 pm at Hopewell Baptist Church in Monroe officiated by Rev. Dr. Lee Pigg. It will be preceded by a 30 minute state. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery at 420 Hopewell Church Rd., Monroe. Military graveside rites will be performed by the NC National Guard Honor Guard. Survivors include wife, Tammy Lynn Gregor of Locust; son, Jeremy (Cassie) Gregor of Locust; son, Alan Scott Gregor Jr. (Natalie) of Morrow, OH; daughter, Mandy (Jon) Stephens of Bryson City; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Josiah, Jaydon, Lexi, Jaxon, Emerson, and Breelyn.; brothers, Mike (Kay) Gregor of Swan Point, MD, and Gary (Brianne) Gregor of Defuniak Springs, FL; amd numerous nieces and nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Gregor family.
