Alan Yow

Alan Dale Yow, 56 of Oakboro, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. Alan was born July 16, 1957 in Mecklenburg County to the late Ned Julious Yow and Nellie Reed Pinion Yow. He was a maintenance mechanic for Cargill Manufacturing. A visitation will be held at the home of his daughter Amy Springer on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date. Dale is survived by his wife, Shelia Gail Love Yow; daughter, Amy Springer and husband Phillip; sons, Dale Yow, Jr. and wife Amanda and Mark Yow and wife Krista all of Oakboro; sister, Jan Black; sister-in-law, Gilda Yow; and grandchildren, Chase Springer , Bailey Springer, Logan Yow, and Brennan Yow. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Yow family.
