Albert Artuso

Albert E Artuso, 82, of Harrisburg North Carolina, formally of Niagara Falls, New York, sadly passed from this life into eternal life on Sunday December 13, 2020.

Albert was born on February 3, 1938, in Niagara Falls, New York, the son of John and Elisa Artuso.

Albert graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1956.  He was an outstanding athlete while being All-State in both baseball and basketball during high school.

After graduating he enlisted in the United States Army where he served two years at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Where he met his loving wife Jean.

After beginning his banking career in 1958, he later attended Wisconsin Institute of Banking in Madison Wisconsin.  During his 34 years with HSBC Bank, formally Marine Midland Bank, he rose through many positions and retired as Vice President of Sales and Operations in 1994.

Alberts hobbies included shooting pool, playing golf, and spending time with family.

Albert is survived by his wife Jean of 62 years; sister Yolanda Novelli; three sons, Michael D. Artuso of Harrisburg, Stephen A. Artuso (Debbie) of Naples, FL, and Victor P. Artuso (Vikki) of Harrisburg; and daughter, Donna L. Artuso of Harrisburg; two grandsons, Joshua Artuso and Nicholas Artuso; four granddaughters, Anita Patrick, Jennifer Patrick, Alyssa Isajiw, and Marissa Artuso; and six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father John, mother Elisa, brothers Frank, Nick, and Victor, and sisters Phyllis and Mary.

Visitation be held on Thursday, December 17th, at  11:00 am to 11:45 am at Pitts Baptist Church, 140 Pitts School Road, Concord, North Carolina 28025.  The funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 pm.  Burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, highway 49 in Harrisburg, North Carolina.
