Aleene Hall

Aleene Robin Hopkins Hall, 89 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Mount Pleasant House in Mount Pleasant.

Aleene was born September 22, 1924 in Stanly County to the late William Alexander Hopkins and the late Emma Mae Drye Hopkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1994, Albert C. Hall and son, Tony Hopkins.

A private family memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Eddy Hudson.

She is survived by her daughter, June Stamper of Newton; son, Ricky Hopkins and wife, Etta of New London; brother, Dewey Hopkins of Albemarle; sisters, Ruth Goss and Lucy Helms of Albemarle; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren,.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Hall family.
