Aleene Lambert

Aleene Crayton Lambert, age 71 of 12304 Oscar Rd., Locust, NC 28097, passed away on August 16, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland on Wednesday from 7 to 9. At other times the family will be at her home. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 2 PM. Rev. Clinton Efird will officiate and burial will be at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Born in Cabarrus County on September 18, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Richard Amos Crayton and the late Flora Ann Harvell Crayton. She was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Coy Lee Lambert of the home; son, Ronnie Lee Lambert of Locust; grandson, Joshua Levi Lambert of Locust; brothers, Johnny Crayton, Charlie Crayton and Richard Crayton all of Cabarrus County; sister, Virginia Linker of Cabarrus County and half sister, Louise Crayton Burris of Concord.
