Alene Treece

Alene Beddie Treece, Age 85 of 110 Tucker St., Locust, passed away on November 2, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Born in Stanly County on July 7, 1924, Alene Treece was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph David Treece, Sr., her mother, Edda Osmond Huneycutt, her father, James Homer Huneycutt, and her sister, Helen Hopkins, and was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Stanfield. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 with Rev. Warren Rice and Rev. Kinney Wallace officiating. Burial will be at First Baptist of Locust. Mrs. Treece is survived by her son, David Treece of Locust; sister, Hilda Smith of Stanfield; and brother, Hurbert Huneycutt of Stanfield NC. Memorials may be sent to Berea Baptist Church, P. O.
