Alex Granados, of Charlotte, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday September 29, at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a difficult battle with cancer.
Alex was born April 29, 1977 in Colombia, to Leonel Granados and Ines Granados.
He loved his family more than anyone in the world, selflessly giving all of himself to protect and ensure their happiness. One of his favorite pastimes was playing and watching soccer, he would never miss a Liverpool game, which was his favorite team. At a young age he developed a passion for music and took joy in playing the base and drums. He proudly earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from UNC Charlotte, in 2005 and a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland in 2018.
Alex was an extraordinary man, who touched many lives and will be immensely missed.
