Alex Paxton

Alex Reed Paxton, 31, of Mount Pleasant, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

Alex was born September 18, 1989 in Westerville, OH to Kenneth Michael Paxton and Kathryn Louise Hartley.

Alex leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Kat Hartley and fiance Darren Edney; father, Ken Paxton; brother, Trevor Paxton and wife Haruka; as well as his loving extended family and numerous friends and co-workers.

Alex had many things in life he really enjoyed. When he was young, he and his brother Trevor would spend summers at Lake Erie in Ohio visiting their grandpa. While there, Alex's love for fishing was sparked. That kid really knew how to cook up some fish.

Alex liked having fun with his friends going four-wheeling in his jeep, riding skateboards, beach trips and just hanging out in general.

Alex also enjoyed gardening and growing unique house plants.

Alex frequently pulled pranks on his mom and on his friends. Leaving silly things for them to find or convincing them to do stupid things. He had a great sense of humor and a cute smirk.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:45 pm, Monday, November 2, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Drive, Concord, NC 28025.  The funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
