Alexandra Ward

Alexandra "Allie" Leigh Ward, age 23, of Concord, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013. Allie was born August 22, 1989 in Cabarrus County to George Edward Ward and Sandra Elaine Lambert Ward of Concord. In addition to her parents she is also survived by her brother, Kyle Ward of Manassas, VA; a paternal grandfather Jack Ward of Glade Valley, NC; maternal grandmother, Jane Safrit and grandfather Eddie of Salisbury, NC; and her dog, Jack. She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, David Lambert and paternal grandmother, Frances Carole Ward. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church. The memorial service will follow at 4 pm, with Rev. Carrie Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church c/o Honduras Mission Trip, 3600 US 601, Concord, NC 28025.
