Alfonso Mourino

Alfonso “Al” Javier Mourino passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 in Winston Salem, NC. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Tuesday, March 13 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Jacqueline Tookey. Mr. Mourino was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 3, 1927, to the late Louis Mourino and the late Lucinda Mourino. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Peggy Elmira Hatley Mourino, of the home; one daughter, Kelley Basham and her husband Richard of Kernersville; and two grandchildren, Erik and Kayla. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 21007 NC Hwy 73, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Mourino family.
