Alice Cauble

Alice Katherine Nicholson Cauble, 85, of Concord passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Transitional Healthcare in Kannapolis. She was born on October 7, 1925 in Montgomery County Kansas to the late George Ones and Bessie Christina Rogers Nicholson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mrs. Cauble was a pastor for 63 years in The Foursquare Church where she pioneered the Salisbury church. There were many other churches where she served, including Gastonia, NC, Guymon, OK , Donna, TX, Concord, NC, St. Petersburg, FL, and High Point, NC where she retired on Easter Sunday in 1990. She also served on the board of The FWI leadership. A visitation will be held at Harvest Community Church on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 2:00 until 4 PM. Funeral services will follow at the church at 4 PM, with Pastor Jeff Burris and Pastor Glenn Burris, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Curtis Alvin Cauble of Concord; their children, Steven Curtis Cauble and wife Lisa of Lantana, TX, Sherilyn Jones and husband Jerry of Byron Center, MI, Katherine Cauble of Concord and Tim Cauble and wife Cindy of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Tucker, Haven and Clancy Cauble, Melissa Jones, Allison Reyes and Erin Cauble; great grandchildren, Grace and Olivia Reyes; sister-in-laws Geraldine Cauble and Jean Silver; numerous nieces and nephews.
