Alice David

Alice Jadelle Pinion David, 65, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast. A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Jeff Richards, will be held at New Gilead Reformed Church in Concord, NC, on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Alice was born on April 22, 1947, to the late Sam Peter Pinion, Sr. and the late Doris Mae Hendley Pinion. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Stewart David. She survived by son, Ray Yow and wife, Toni, of Concord; daughter, Cathy Thomas and husband, Darrell, of Concord; two brothers, Robert Pinion of Granite Falls and Pete Pinion of Oakboro; sister, Carrie Efird of Albemarle; and six grandchildren, Krista and Ethan Thomas and Tyler, Amber, Hunter and Jennifer Yow. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the David family.
