Alice Davis

Alice Bernice Davis, 94, of Concord, passed away on June 1, 2013 at the Tucker House in Kannapolis, NC. She was born on July 4, 1918 to Ellis and Gertrude Griffin in Concord, NC. Alice was a dedicated employee for Cannon Mills for 39 years. Surviving by her son; Bill Davis; grand-daughter Donna Glass, Three grand-sons; Dana Starr, Michael Starr, Troy Starr and four great-grandsons; Jason Starr, Jerry Starr, Zach Glass, Nick Glass. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin A. Davis, daughter, Peggy Starr, father, Ellis Griffin, and mother, Gertrude Griffin. Funeral procession will be from Hartsell Funeral Home-Concord on Monday, June 3, 2013, 11:00 am. Burial will take place directly following in the Oakwood Cemetery Concord, NC.
