Alice Holt

Alice Rebecca Holt, Age 72 of 32269 Pennington Road, Albemarle, NC passed away on July 28, 2010 at her daughter’s home where she was being cared for. Born in Rowan County on April 20, 1938 she was a daughter of the late CR Foutz and the late Dorothy Louise Burleson Foutz. Alice Holt was also preceded in death by her husband Leroy Harvey Holt. Mrs. Holt was survived by her daughter Robin Holshouser of Salisbury NC, her son Steven Motley of Elizabeth City NC, her grandchildren Eddie Newman and Rebecca Newman, her sisters Hazel Hopkins of Mt. Pleasant NC, Sarah Dry of Concord and her brother Roy Foutz of Kannapolis NC. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 2:00 PM 4:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle Funeral service will held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, 522 N. 2nd Albemarle NC, with the minister Rev. Stephen Holshouser officiating. Burial will follow at Union Chapel UMC Cemetery.
