Alice Love

Alice Virginia Love, 83 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Love was born October 28, 1932 in North Carolina to the late James T. Barbee and the late Mamie Haigler Barbee. In addition to her parents, Alice was also preceded in death by her husband William Connard Love; brothers, Loomis and Lawrence Barbee; sisters, Faye Baucom, Eva Trull, and Margie Nance.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Providence Church of God in Locust, officiated by Rev. Jerry Ingle. Burial will follow in the Providence Church of God Cemetery at 12474 NC Hwy 24-27, Locust.

Survivors include daughter, Cindy Dennis and her husband Alvah of Albemarle, NC; sister, Rachael Honeycutt; sister, Della Rae Crayton; granddaughter, Hannah Curran and her husband Michael; and grandson, Nathan Dennis and his wife Natasha.
