Alice Mcdonald

Alice Josephine "Mama Jo" Overcash McDonald, 75, of 13108 Megan Drive Rockwell, NC passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at her home. She was born on September 20, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Edgar Pete and Edith Novella Shoe Overcash. She was also preceded in death by her husband Leroy "Sleepy" McDonald. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Tuesday, October 4th from 1 until 2 PM . Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 2 PM, with Pastor Edward Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. She is survived by sons, Ronnie McDonald and wife Patricia of Concord, and Mark McDonald of Virginia; sister, Shelby Moss of West Jefferson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nephews; two neices.
