Alice Mceachern

Alice H. McEachern, 65, of Concord, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mrs. McEachern was born October 13, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late Phylas Edward “P. E.” Harvell and Ethel Mae Harvell Harvell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Reuben H. McEachern in 2001 and her brother Boyce Ray Harvell. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Rev. Don Lisk. Burial will follow in the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery, 3606 Drake Road, Midland. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her son, Tommy F. Polk and his wife, Shasta, of Chesterfield, Virginia; her grandchildren, Christopher Ray Polk, Austin Wayne Ritchie, Courtney Elaine Polk, and Tyler Floyd Polk, all of Chesterfield; and her sisters, Oralee Hammonds, Ruth Simpson, and Faye Baker, all of Concord.
