Alice Parker

Alice Jeanette Parker, 77 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Alice was born November 27, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Luther Parker and the late Mary Jane Wyatt Parker. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 4:00pm at Dunn's Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Austin officiating. She will lie in state for an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle. At other times the family will be meeting at the home of her son, Alvin Smith and wife Suzanne, 119 Moss St, Richfield. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles Herbert Parker of Richfield; sons, Alvin Smith and wife, Suzanne of Richfield, Dwight Lynn Smith of Richfield; daughter, Becky Medlin and husband Mark of New London; brother, Leon Parker of Albemarle; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
