Alison Davis

Alison Rebecca Davis, 53 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Main in Charlotte.
Alison was born July 25, 1963 in Stanly County to the late Reginald Allen Davis and Sylvia Kay Talbert Davis of Albemarle.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson in 2014, Aiden Brandon Davis.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Adam Hatley. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Derek Davis, of Albemarle; brother, Ricky Davis of Albemarle; sister, Susan (David Chamberlin) Gobush of Albemarle; brother, Darrell (Cindy) Davis of Oakboro; sister, Debi Sparks of Gilbert, SC; and brother, Michael Davis of Badin.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
