Alison Lail

Alison Kay Lail, 60, of Charlotte, was called home by the Lord to be with loved ones on Monday, April 5, 2021.

A strong woman known for her love of family, sense of humor and giving spirit, Alison will be lovingly remembered by her two children, son, Andrew (Holly) Gregory, and daughter, Sarah Lail; three grandchildren, Anderson Lail, Michael and Maizie Gregory; parents, Ron and Ida Tenney; siblings, Robert (Cindy), Willie (Laura), and Julie (Allen).  Alison will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 21 years, David Lail.

Born March 21, 1961 in Ohio, Alison was very active in Girl Scouts and achieved the Gold Award.  When Alison wasn't crocheting or reading at home, she loved to travel, explore the outdoors and was always up to try new things.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by family friend, Rev. Rick Wilson of Calvary Foursquare Church.  Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg.
