Alyssa Colosi

Alyssa Marie Colosi, 11 years of age, of Concord, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at CMC Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte.

Alyssa was born August 30, 2006 in New Jersey to Edmund Nunzio Colosi and Michelle Lyn Colosi.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Colosi. Her hobbies were reading, art, baking, crafts, and gymnastics. She loved Beanie Boos, and her many pets. She also loved the color purple, Monster High dolls, playing Barbies with her older sister Brianna, and swimming.

The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 pm, and 5-8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. James The Greater Catholic Church in Concord officiated by Fr. Jerome Chavarria. Burial will follow at the St. James The Greater Catholic Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents; Edmund and Michelle Colosi of Concord, NC; sister, Brianna Nicole Colosi of the home; maternal grandmother, Patricia Lockman of Pearl River, LA; God-parents, Matthew Hooker and Elizabeth Vandeleur; and was the niece of Jennifier "Nanny" & Jamie Traigle, Mario Colosi & Lori Sarisky, Darrell & Elizabeth Vandeleur, Matthew & Bobbi Hooker, and James & Ellie Pasukinski.
