Angela Mae Greene Barbee, 43 of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017.
Angela was born January 8, 1974 to Walter and Alice Greene. She was employed as a radiology technician with Novant Spinal Specialty. Angela was a member of Kinza Memorial Baptist Church in Stanfield. She also loved the beach. She loved and adored her family and to her husband and her son, she was their everything. The things that will always be remembered are her smile and her kindness. She had a sweetness that nothing can compare to. Angela had a smile for everyone she met and she never met a stranger.
Survivors include beloved husband, John Barbee; son, Cody Barbee; mother, Alice May Whited Greene; father, Walter Jason Greene; brother, William "Billy" (Hanna) Greene; sister-in-law, Claudette Barbee; sister-in-law, Kim (Steve) Wilson; 4 nieces and 2 nephews. She also leaves behind her three dogs, Chloe, Savannah and Jake.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 6 - 8 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland. The funeral service will be Thursday, August 3, 2017, 2:00 pm at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, officiated by Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance and Chaplain Paul Saleeby, Monroe Police Department. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
