Angela "Angie" Sherrell Murphy, 52, of Concord, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at CMC Main in Charlotte.
Angie was born June 9, 1965 in Macon, Georgia. She was passionate about serving others and loved helping others through her work as a Certified Medical Assistant at Carolina Internal Medicine and volunteering at the Community Free Clinic of Concord. She loved spending time with family and friends, her cat, Murphy, and Saturday "retail therapy" with Brooke.
Services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Dr. NE, Concord. The family will receive friends from 3:30 - 5:00 pm, prior to the service. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's chapel, officiated by Rev. Tim Young and Rev. Randy Arrowood. Interment will be private.
Angie is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, Lenny Murphy; son, Joey (Tanya) Mullis; son, Jason Darryl (Laura) Mullis; daughter, Brooke Mullis (Drake) Allmon; parents, O.C. Rabun Jr. and Maureen Rabun; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Addison and Sadie; four brothers, Bobby (Trina) Rabun, Robert Rabun, Mitchell (Misty) Rabun, and Justin Rabun; two sisters, Carol Davidson and Sharon Burns; and many nieces and nephews.
