Anita Hinson

Anita Penninger Hinson, 62 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her home.
Anita was born April 6, 1954 in Concord, NC to the late John C. Penninger, Jr. and the late Louise Deese Penninger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Hinson; as well as her sister, Judy P. Anthony.
Survivors include her son, Nic Hinson & wife, Jessica; her grandson, Cooper; brother Clifford Penninger & wife, Shirley; sisters, Linda Penninger Morrison & husband, Jimmy and Vicky Penninger Furr; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on Sunday, May 15th at Roberta United Methodist Church, 3925 Cochran Rd., Concord, NC 28027, officiated by Rev. Jim Church. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00pm.
Anita is at peace with her beloved dog Jaycee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roberta UMC, or the Humane Society of Concord and Greater Cabarrus County.
