Anita Lynn Scott Kelley

Anita Lynn Scott Kelley, 77, of Concord, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. 

Lynn was born October 15, 1947 in High Point, NC to the late Arnold Willie Scott and the late Margaret Smith Scott. 

Survivors include sons; Sean (Tonia) English of Harrisburg, NC, Patrick (Amy) Kelley of Macomb, MO, Eric Kelley (JD Simmons) of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren; Isabella, Gabriel, Starr, Avery, and Kaiyah; brother; Keith (Cora) Scott, their children Steve, Michael, April and Lynn’s dog, Kira. 

Lynn studied nursing at Manhattan Vo-Tech and went on to graduate in 1978 where she earned her LPN certification and worked for 30+ years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the occasional dance class, and was a huge Paul McCartney and Elvis Presley fan. She was a member of Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed participating in a multitude of activities, of which Lunch Bunch was her favorite. She loved her family and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM, at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte officiated by Pastor Hunter Roddey. 

Memorials may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
