Ann Gnadt

Ann Marie Gnadt, 63, of Concord, NC passed away Monday, October 26, 2020, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

Ann was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late John Frank Gnadt and the late Marie Frances Gnadt.

She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Jonathan Wiest; her sister MaryJane (Christopher); her brother John (Nicole); her sister-in-law Susan Boes (Dick); her brother-in-laws Donn Wiest (Patti), Tim Wiest (Chris), Kenn Wiest (Barbara); her nieces and nephews Daniel, Mitchell, Olivia, and Julia Gnadt; her many cousins; extended family members; and her fur babies Casey, Sienna, and Ella.

Ann was an artist and teacher with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. She cared about everyone and all animals.  If an animal died in a movie, she wouldn’t watch any more!  She loved her gardens and the potted tomatoes on her deck.  Ann had a knack for getting complete strangers to tell her their deepest and darkest secrets because she was not judgmental and a good listener.

Ann's service will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00am EST at the Light of Christ UMC.  The church's address is 9106 Bryant Farms Road, Charlotte, NC  28277. The church website is http://locumc.org.
