Ann Howell

Ann Blake Howell, age 78 of Albemarle, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Woodhaven Court Assisted Living. Mrs. Howell was born in Montgomery County on November 6, 1933, to the late Allen Blake and the late Stella Belle Britt Blake. She is survived by four sons, James Howell of Raleigh, Donald Howell of Troy, Tommy Howell of Greensboro and Scott Howell of Laurinburg; a daughter, Jeanette Burleson of Albemarle; two sisters, Mary Hurley of Troy and Phyllis Cannon of Hickory; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Howell was a registered nurse and a 1953 graduate of Troy High School. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Howell family.
