Ann Cook Pierce, 85, of Indian Trail, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Novant Health Harris Hospice Unit in Charlotte.
Mrs. Pierce was born in Watauga County to the late Linza Michael Cook and the late Vertie Carlton Cook. She was preceded in death by husband, Ambrose Benjamin "Ben" Pierce; sister, Becky Nichols; and brother, Ledford Cook.
Ann was a lifetime homemaker who loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. She loved spending time outdoors in her garden and feeding the wild birds and deer.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Monday, December 30, 2019, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at the Oakboro Cemetery at 1397 North Main Street in Oakboro officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson.
Survivors include son, Marcus Pierce and wife Debbie of Indian Trail; daughters, Samona Adams and husband Mark of Mint Hill and Mitzi Cribb and husband Randy of Albemarle; grandchildren, Landon Adams and wife Katie, Rebecca Cribb, and Benjamin Cribb; and brother, Mike Cook of North Wilkesboro.
