Anna Sablitz

Anna Martha Boyuka Sablitz, 91, of Old Hickory Road, Locust, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Sablitz was born December 27, 1918, in Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew Boyuka and Henry Herbert Sablitz; father, Herman Moses Kohl; and mother, Martha Sperber Kohl. Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., at Carolina Presbyterian Church, Renee Ford Road, Locust. The funeral service will begin at 2:00, at the church, with Mr. James Almond officiating. Survivors include son, David Andrew Boyuka and wife, Tina, of Locust; daughters, Deborah Anne Kuring and Debra Lee Franklin, both of Pennsylvania; sister, Dorothy Hempel of Missouri; and grandchildren, Michael, Noelle, Drew, Adam, and Caroline.
