Biography Anna Marie Snyder Thompson, 61, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home.
Anna was born April 19, 1956 in Ridgway, PA to the late Robert Miller and the late Sarah Jane Snyder.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Sides. She will be laid to rest at Community Full Gospel Church Cemetery in Norwood.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Terry Wayne Thompson of the home; sons, Daniel Harris Barr, Jr. and wife Kathy of Raleigh, Robert Jeffrey Rettger of Albemarle, Joshua John Pirrung of Raleigh; daughters, Misty Dawn Lowder and husband Randy of Richfield, Amber Keech Davis of Eldred, PA; sister, Sharon Mae Snyder of Detroit, MI; and 14 grandchildren.
Anna was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a devoted member of Upper Room Christian Center. She loved her church and church family. Christmas was her most favorite time of year. She loved watching Christmas movies year round.
