Anne Barrier Fisher

Anne Barrier Fisher, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2024 at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord.

Born December 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Boyd Lee Barrier and the late Estelle Furr Barrier of Georgeville, NC. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bobby Ray Fisher; a sister, Doris Barrier Tucker; and brother-in-law, Louis Tucker. 

Anne was a graduate and salutatorian of Mt.Pleasant High School, class of 1952 and Evans College. She had a career in banking followed by years as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family, working in her yard and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of Baptist faith. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm, Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral of Concord. The funeral service will follow on Friday at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Rodney Quesenberry. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include daughter, Betsy Anne Fisher of Concord; Son, Bobby Dean Fisher (Nikki) of Concord; three granddaughters, Sydney Brandon (Dalton), Morgan Franklin (Cody) and Kendal Fisher; great-granddaughter, Lonnie Jo; and great-grandson, McCall.
